December 2009:

AMUSED HAS A CAST, CREW & BUCKET o’ BLOOD!!!

Mark this down in history as the first update from By the C Productions!!! Word!!! AMUSED, the first film from By the C has officially been cast. The fantastic talents of Elise Rovinsky and Ryan Metzger will star in this creepy little film. More good news, besides lowering my cholesterol, we have also managed to ink a deal with Colin Rivera of Vintage Youth Productions. Colin will bring his expertise and will be the DP for AMUSED. Shooting is scheduled for the second weekend in January 2010.

*A nice recipe for blood: 15 Corn Syrup Bottles (16oz.), 2 Red Food Coloring Big  

  bottles, 1 Blue Food Coloring Small Bottle, 2 cups of Flour

  There are numerous ways and recipes for blood. This just happened to be the one I

  used for this film. Use Trial & Error to find your blood.

January 2010:

AMUSED WRAPS PRINCIPAL PHOTOG. BRAIN MATTER INCLUDED.

Despite frigid temps, last minute rewrites and a sick producer, AMUSED is in the can. It’s quiet, creepy, bloody and has a surprise or two for you film story psychics.

DECEMBER 2010:

BY THE C COMBINES POWERS WITH FLANNEL FILMS

Here comes THANKS, a thought provoking short drama.

FEBRUARY 2011:

THANKS has officially been retitled to WAKE. So far in By the C’s young career, we apparently love the one word titles. We are moving along steadily in pre-production. Casting for our leading lady is on March 3 and shooting begins on March 25. As if you can’t tell by our recent pix, there’s a graveyard up in this next film, word. 

MARCH 2011:

WAKE has found it’s lovely leads. Bobby Banhart will be William and Olivia Dunkley will be our Alyssa. Working out some pesky details for the shoot. March 25th is the lucky day. We stoked, you stoked, we all flippin stoked.   

AUGUST 2011:

AMUSED is currently being scored by the awesomely talented young whipper snapper, Zach Letts. Check out his work on YouTube

It’s down to sound and color correction, then AMUSED is festival bound.

FEBRUARY 2012:

AMUSED is having it’s final sound edits done. Eager to get this done!

WAKE has a rough cut complete but needs a lot of work still. WAKE will be an online

film only, featured right here on the site.
